Children will have Bible every morning, where we learn from stories, discuss and have activities to help establish a solid Biblical foundation.
In class teachers will provide initial instruction and students will show mastery through individual and group work. K-3 follows the Abeka math curriculum. 4-8th grade follows Saxon Math.
Courses are designed to help students develop effective communication through reading, writing, speaking, thinking, and presenting. Grammar, spelling, vocabulary, literature and writing are daily components of our LA courses, whether in class or at home.
Our unit courses aim to provide students with creative, hands-on learning in small group settings. Each "Unit" is designed to be 5-6 weeks and includes topics like North America, Africa, Asia, Ancient Civilization, Botany, Creepy Crawlies, Earth Science, Space etc. We share the lesson as a whole class and then split into small groups for assignments based on each student's age/grade.
Elective courses may vary each quarter, but may include any of the following: Cooking, Gardening, Food Preservation, Sewing, Art, Spanish and Coding
