Frequently Asked Questions

What grade levels are at SFHC?

For the 2026-2027 school year, we offer classes for K-8th.

Where is the SFHC campus?

6855 SR 16, St Augustine FL in the blue block building

What are "on campus" days?

We offer "on campus" days every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-2pm.  Students may be dropped off and a teacher will provide education plans, lesson instructions and educational support. This ensures that your child stays on track with their personalized education plan.  Thursdays and Fridays are designated "at home" learning days.  The curated curriculum goes home with your child on Wednesdays,  to be completed by the following on-campus day.

Parental Responsibilities?

We are a Home Educational Instruction Program. Parents are responsible for ensuring the completion of work assigned during co-op days and at home days. Parents should monitor student progress by checking student work, assessing needs, and supplementing and/or extending learning as needed. Additionally, parents are responsible for following homeschool regulations stipulated by the county or state, such as testing and/or evaluations.

Teacher Responsibilities?

Teachers will partner with parents by preparing and teaching lessons in a classroom or small group environment. Teachers will assign lessons for parents to teach their children at home on the "at home" days.

What Curriculum do you use?

This will be discussed in detail if you should decide that SFHC is a good fit for your family.
